Diagnostic Assessments

Our process

1. Initial assessment and developmental history interview

A detailed assessment exploring early life, education, family, and developmental milestones (with a parent or someone who knows your history, where possible).

2. Mental health and learning disability differential assessment

Exploration of other possible explanations for your experiences (e.g. speech and language difficulties, anxiety, low mood, trauma), to ensure a thoughtful and accurate formulation.

3. Validated self-report and objective measures

Research-backed and NHS-recognised assessment tools to assess attention, activity and impulsivity.

4. School consultation

Liaison with school or college to gather collateral information.

5. Diagnostic report and feedback (including recommendations)

A clear explanation of the findings, diagnosis (if applicable), and personalised recommendations to support you moving forward.
